Last week, for the very first time, I was thrilled (maybe a little anxious) to be invited to present a brainchild of an old friend, Claudia Lam, for her uni project. Despite she is new to the world of knitwear design, she managed to hit the fashion rack across materials and fabrics and learn the hidden crafts of creative design – intensifying the definition of innovation. This piece of artwork was made of a combination of bubble wrap and cotton whilst the pattern and theme were inspired by an Italian artist, Gino Severini’s artwork – Train In The City.
